Safety at SCAMPS
The safety of every athlete is our highest priority. We maintain strict policies, training requirements, and compliance standards to protect every child in our care.
Zero-Tolerance Abuse Policy
SCAMPS Gymnastics maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of abuse — physical, emotional, verbal, or sexual. Any allegation of misconduct is taken seriously and investigated immediately. We are committed to providing a safe environment where every child is treated with dignity and respect.
If you witness or suspect any form of abuse, report it immediately to SCAMPS leadership, the US Center for SafeSport, or law enforcement.
SafeSport Compliance
SCAMPS is fully compliant with the U.S. Center for SafeSport policies and USA Gymnastics SafeSport requirements. SafeSport is the national effort to create a healthy, positive environment in sports and protect athletes from all forms of abuse and misconduct.

- Observable and interruptible environments — no one-on-one situations without visibility
- Clear reporting procedures for any concerns, with multiple reporting channels available
- Age-appropriate physical contact policies for coaching and spotting
- Electronic communication policies governing coach-athlete communications
- Travel and overnight trip policies with chaperone and supervision requirements

- National criminal background screening through USAG-approved provider
- Sex offender registry check at federal, state, and local levels
