About Cheer Tumble

Our Cheer Tumble program is specifically designed for cheerleaders who want to improve their tumbling skills. Using professional gymnastics equipment and instruction, athletes develop the floor tumbling technique needed for competitive cheer, school squads, and all-star teams.

Classes focus on proper technique, progressive skill development, and building the confidence to execute tumbling passes in a cheer setting. Our certified coaches break down complex skills into manageable progressions, ensuring athletes develop safely and effectively.

Class Levels

Level 1 — Beginner

Ages 6+ | No tumbling experience required

Introduction to fundamental tumbling skills. Athletes learn proper body positions, basic rolls, and foundational skills that serve as building blocks for more advanced tumbling. Perfect for cheerleaders just starting to incorporate tumbling into their skill set.

Forward & backward rolls
Cartwheel technique
Round-off fundamentals
Handstand holds
Bridge & backbend
Hurdle approach
Body positions & shapes
Flexibility training

Level 2 — Intermediate

Ages 6+ | Level 1 completion or coach evaluation

Building on fundamentals with more advanced tumbling combinations. Athletes work toward standing and running tumbling passes that are essential for competitive cheerleading. Emphasis on connecting skills into fluid tumbling sequences.

Back walkover
Front walkover
Aerial cartwheel progression
